The Customer Service Associate position is responsible for professional and timely communication with customers, dealers, designers, and sales representatives. This role involves working closely with the customer, designers, and operational staff to understand overall business requirements. Key responsibilities include managing responses to inquiries, creating quotes, reviewing orders, problem resolution, and providing post-sales support. The associate will also provide production specifications, pricing, configuration, and availability information, and will be responsible for the entry of highly configured orders, credits, return authorizations, and order changes. This role requires interaction with various departments within the organization, close collaboration with manufacturing and sourcing organizations to ensure accurate completion dates and on-time production, and management of new accounts or special shipping needs. Additionally, the associate will track key orders to ensure timely manufacturing, verify pricing accuracy for all orders (including promotional periods), and ensure customers meet all requirements. The position also oversees all logistical needs and requirements for domestic and international shipments, prospects accounts for service needs and sales opportunities, and manages multiple projects with significant telephone and email volume. Assistance with other projects as requested is also part of the role.
