About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with daily store operations, including merchandising and customer support, while helping maintain a clean and welcoming environment. The associate is cross-trained to operate the cash register and may switch to front-end duties as needed. Duties include receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, processing freight safely and to productivity standards, merchandising and stocking, maintaining store cleanliness, interacting professionally and respectfully with customers and coworkers, managing sales transactions, safeguarding cash and company assets, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions while working at the assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
