About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with the daily operations of an assigned Dollar Tree store, including merchandising and customer support. The associate helps maintain a clean, welcoming, safe, and respectful shopping environment and is cross-trained to operate the cash register and support front-end duties as needed. The role includes receiving and processing merchandise, stocking, cleaning, customer service, and handling transactions and cash securely. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely and in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Help ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions while operating an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
