About The Position

The Customer Service Associate II assists with the daily operations of an assigned store, including merchandising and customer support. The associate helps maintain a clean, welcoming environment and is cross-trained to operate the cash register and take on front-end duties as needed. The role also involves receiving and processing merchandise, keeping store areas neat and presentable, supporting safe and respectful interactions, and handling sales transactions and cash securely. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity.
Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely in accordance with productivity standards.
Merchandise and stock as needed.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and courteously with customers, associates, and leaders.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
