About The Position

The Customer Service Associate assists customers and supports store operations to deliver a positive shopping experience. The role includes helping customers with questions and recommendations, operating an assigned cash register, safeguarding cash and company assets, stocking and recovering merchandise, receiving deliveries, and replenishing stock in accordance with productivity standards. Associates are expected to maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment and interact professionally and cordially with customers, associates, and leaders. The position also includes maintaining store cleanliness, such as cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable. Other duties may be assigned. The position is part-time and located at 1927 E Beltline Rd, Carrollton, Texas 75006-5874. Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, assist with unloading trucks, and replenish stock according to productivity standards.
Help ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
