About The Position
The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, managing register transactions, maintaining cash security and company assets, stocking and recovering merchandise, and helping receive and replenish inventory. The role also involves keeping the store clean and presentable, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash. Associates are expected to maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
- Manage sales transactions at an assigned cash register.
- Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
- Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
- Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
