About The Position

Join the team at Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center as a Part Time Customer Service Associate / Barista and help create memorable guest experiences in both our Shoreline Boutique & Café, where specialty coffee, grab‑and‑go items, and unique retail products are offered. As a hybrid role, you’ll provide excellent guest service, assist with retail sales, prepare beverages and light food items, and help maintain a welcoming environment for guests throughout the resort.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience in retail or food & beverage preferred
Comfortable with coffee and beverage preparation (coffee, tea, smoothies, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment
Basic math and cash‑handling ability
Must be at least 16 years old

Responsibilities

Greet all guests with warmth, professionalism, and a friendly attitude
Understand and anticipate guest needs to deliver personalized recommendations
Address guest questions or concerns promptly and positively
Share knowledge of boutique merchandise, styles, and promotions
Promote products and assist guests in making purchases
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail area
Assist with inventory counts and product displays
Take and prepare orders for specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, teas, juices, and light food items
Follow established recipes and presentation standards for drinks and food
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation and service areas
Restock inventory and monitor product freshness and food safety
Process purchases and handle returns accurately using the POS system
Collect and reconcile payments (cash, credit, debit)
Work collaboratively across the retail and café areas to meet service and sales goals
Support resort events and cross‑department initiatives as needed
Maintain a welcoming guest experience at all times
