The position requires greeting and responding to in-person, telephone, or written inquiries regarding vehicle registration, driver license issuance, driver examinations, suspensions, reinstatement requirements, procedures for renewing or updating physically and medically restricted driver licenses, general inquiries, or driver license/registration status in a professional, courteous, friendly, respectful, and timely manner to ensure positive customer service. The role also involves listening carefully, asking appropriate follow-up questions to verify understanding, providing immediate, knowledgeable, accurate, and precise responses or firm commitments for future responses, following up to ensure all customer questions/concerns are answered, and documenting customer correspondence as needed.
