Be part of something bigger—build your future with us! The Customer Service and Sub-Contract Support role falls under the general supervision of the Purchasing Manager. This role is responsible for entering customer purchase orders, preparing various reports and summaries, responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, communicating customer order changes / issues with the appropriate departments and coordinating the shipment and return of sub-contract work to support our customers’ schedules.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Customer and Order Support in a manufacturing environment required or equivalent in business administration or purchasing.
  • Proficient with computers and Enterprise Resource Planning software required.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Download customer sales orders
  • Enters/aligns customer purchase orders – responsible for all sales order entry
  • Handles all customer service inquiries
  • Verifies accuracy of data.
  • Track customer orders via various B2B systems.
  • Works closely with the Shipping department to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate customer sales order changes and escalate critical customer concerns to the appropriate level of management.
  • Monitors availability of production parts that need to go through a sub-contracting operation.
  • Coordinates with the shipping department and our sub-contractors to ensure that these parts are shipped, processed, and returned in a timely manner to meet the customer shipping goals.
  • Ensure accurate counts on hand at sub-contractor locations by facilitating cycle counts and performing on-site visits to validate counts.
  • Place orders to vendors and schedule raw material deliveries
  • Receive products against approved purchase order
