About The Position

The Customer Satisfaction & Basic Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position supports daily operations at a large automotive manufacturing plant, performing light maintenance, repairs, and preventive service to keep equipment and work areas in top condition.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various conditions.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience in general maintenance, building operations, or facility services preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general light maintenance and basic repairs, including restrooms, doors, flooring, drywall, and ceiling tiles.
Service and maintain ice and water machines, including filter replacements and preventive maintenance.
Respond promptly to leaks, spills, or water issues, ensuring safety and minimal disruption.
Conduct painting and surface touch-ups to maintain a clean, professional facility appearance.
Support preventive maintenance programs and complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
Monitor and report any abnormal equipment or building conditions to supervisors.
Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to requests quickly and professionally.
Follow all ABM safety standards and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
