About The Position

The Customer Satisfaction & Basic Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring the facility is safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position supports daily operations at a large automotive manufacturing plant, performing light maintenance, repairs, and preventive service to keep equipment and work areas in top condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, building operations, or facility services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general light maintenance and basic repairs, including restrooms, doors, flooring, drywall, and ceiling tiles.
  • Service and maintain ice and water machines, including filter replacements and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to leaks, spills, or water issues, ensuring safety and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct painting and surface touch-ups to maintain a clean, professional facility appearance.
  • Support preventive maintenance programs and complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor and report any abnormal equipment or building conditions to supervisors.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to requests quickly and professionally.
  • Follow all ABM safety standards and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
