About The Position
The Customer Satisfaction & Basic Maintenance Technician helps maintain a positive customer experience by keeping a large automotive manufacturing plant safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role supports daily operations through light maintenance, basic repairs, and preventive service to keep equipment and work areas in good condition. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. CST. The pay range is $22.00–$26.00 per hour; specific offers vary based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in various conditions.
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, building operations, or facility services.
Responsibilities
- Perform general light maintenance and basic repairs, including restrooms, doors, flooring, drywall, and ceiling tiles.
- Service and maintain ice and water machines, including replacing filters and performing preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to leaks, spills, and water issues to ensure safety and minimize disruption.
- Perform painting and surface touch-ups to maintain a clean, professional facility appearance.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and report abnormal equipment or building conditions to supervisors.
- Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally.
- Follow ABM safety standards and company procedures.
