About The Position

This role involves providing expert assistance to customers regarding a wide variety of questions and problems within the industrial distribution sector. Unlike typical CSR roles, this position focuses on building ongoing business relationships through repeated contact and consultation. The representative will be responsible for quickly and efficiently providing customers with the right parts and solutions, especially during equipment breakdowns. There will also be opportunities to utilize mechanical aptitude to solve customer problems. This role is seen as a starting point for growth towards sales or management careers, with a clear growth path within the company.

Requirements

6 months of customer service experience preferred
Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar
Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

SAP / ERP experience
Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics

Responsibilities

Process quotes, take orders, and provide post-order service
