About The Position
Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Customer Sales & Service Representative at our Indianapolis, IN service center. In this role, you'll provide professional and timely support to our sales team and customers. Requirements
- 1+ year customer service, inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience required.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & data entry software
- Attention to detail, time management, organization, & communication
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)
Nice To Haves
- Hydraulic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Solve customer inquiries, prepare quotes, process/expedite orders & returns
- Source parts from suppliers nationwide
- Assist in generating sales by upselling, adding on, & educating customers
- Assemble hoses for walk-in customers
- Help in the stockroom & deliver orders to customers as needed
