About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is a family-owned and operated company established in 1978. Our core business is standard, next-day, ground delivery, with corporate headquarters in St. Cloud, MN. We employ over 1,800 people and have expanded throughout the Midwest. The Customer Relations Specialist will provide administrative support and excellent customer service to our clients.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related sales programs.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to work with all types of freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Sales and/or Marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide support to specialized accounts to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Respond to sales department inquiries, emails, and phone calls.
Support existing and new customers regarding services and quotes.
Assist with distributing mass mailings and sending out information packets to potential customers.
Field prospective customer calls and follow-up calls with the goal of obtaining new customers.
Update customer account information and enter new shipping accounts into the system to ensure correct billing records.
Compile monthly sales spreadsheets for analysis by management.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Provide dedicated support to key shippers within the region.
