Our Pricing team plays a critical role in empowering commercial teams across the globe to exceed their goals. As a Customer Pricing Analyst, you will support pricing strategy, drive profitability, and collaborate closely with both internal partners and external customers. This is a full-time remote role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, contracts, finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Access is an asset)
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of pricing/contract terminology
  • Self‑starter who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Effective interpersonal skills to partner with cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to build expertise in Avantor’s business and become a subject‑matter resource

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, and PriceFX
  • Familiarity with contract compliance and pricing governance

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies to improve profitability while meeting compliance and contractual guidelines
  • Support regional sales leaders and sales representatives with pricing recommendations, contract support, and reporting
  • Manage assigned key accounts including customer communication, pricing execution, RFP coordination, and audit support
  • Contribute to SOX audit initiatives by monitoring routine price changes, uniform pricing requirements, and contractual terms
  • Review and implement contract updates driven by corporate initiatives, supplier price changes, or FX fluctuations
  • Prepare and present pricing files and insights to internal stakeholders across business units
  • Demonstrate and uphold Avantor’s mission, values, and Code of Conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned
