As a team member at SHAZAM, you’ll be an essential part of our mission as we work together strengthening financial institutions. This is a hybrid position based out of our Des Moines, IA office. SHAZAM is looking for a Customer Operations Professional to join our team. The Customer Operations Professional serves as the primary entry point for clients, managing new and existing business projects from initiation through onboarding. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless client experience by providing education, coordination, and guidance on SHAZAM’s products and services. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and clients to ensure all documentation, timelines, and implementation steps are completed accurately and on time—supporting overall client satisfaction and success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing experience in a banking or credit union environment.
  • Must be familiar with and be able to demonstrate knowledge on the workflow within the banking/credit union operations as it relates to all areas of the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across remote teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing client projects from intake through onboarding.
  • Manage project workflows, ensuring required contracts and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
  • Educate clients on selected products and services to support a successful implementation experience.
  • Coordinate timelines, deadlines, and communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Complete required SHAZAM Network and other required paperwork to support client onboarding.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide support to Customer Operations leadership and mentor Customer Operations Professional EL team members.
