About The Position

The Startup Operation (SET Ops) acts as a setup consultant, handling new Dedicated Transportation Solutions business startups and providing ongoing support to Field Operations. The team trains drivers and managers in basic system operations, assists with operational duties, and contributes to process documentation, system testing, and product design-level consulting. This role requires prioritizing and managing day-to-day tasks and extensive travel of approximately 75–80%. The employee will be assigned to a new business location anywhere in the country for a specified period and cannot travel back and forth to their home location during that assignment.

The Customer Logistics Manager supports startup execution and adherence to customer critical success factors. The role ensures drivers and managers understand operations and systems for compliance tracking, driver pay, and customer billing; answers questions and makes timely decisions during startup; trains new managers and Certified Driver Trainers; and develops process flows and consistent operating practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or an industry-related field.
• At least one year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Advanced logistics industry knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of customer and company local and federal regulations.
• Intermediate fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and production.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to effectively manage Profit & Loss statements, depending on the complexity and scope of the operation.
