Job Purpose and Impact The Customer Experience Specialist will support a moderate scale of customer service activities for a single site team. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing and monitoring shipping and returns, including resolving order or delivery issues. You will be serving clients in the French market, which requires good knowledge of this language. The position is based at our Cargill office in Sant Cugat del Vallés, Barcelona (Spain). We offer a hybrid work model, with 70% in the office and 30% working remotely. Temporary position: we offer employment for a period of one year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in in a large-scale international company, supply chain, transport company etc.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Good knowledge of the French language.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.
  • Inform customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete the sale.
  • Proactively connect with customers to build intimacy, understand their needs, solve issues and enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure service delivery.
  • Own customer complaints, coordinate the investigation and improvement actions with relevant teams and inform the customer about the outcome.
  • Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
