About The Position

The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a full-time Customer Experience Specialist to join our Adoptions team at our Papago Park Campus. This position works Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, compassionate experience for every visitor who walks through our doors. Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years customer service experience working with the public.
• Must be flexible and personable with a desire to learn and help pets and the people who love them.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Must have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year prior work experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for everyone visiting the Arizona Humane Society, providing professional, compassionate service to customers, adopters, volunteers, and community members.
• Welcome visitors, answer questions, navigate customers to the appropriate departments, and educate them on the wide range of programs and services offered by AHS.
• Provide empathetic support to individuals arriving with animals in need.
• Resolve customer concerns, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional customer service and compassionate care.
• Coordinate customer flow by managing wait times.
• Facilitate the adoption check-in process.
• Assist with adoption paperwork and animal profiles.
• Receive deliveries and in-kind donations.
• Maintain a professional front lobby.
• Provide general support to the Adoptions team.
