About The Position

Value Buds is seeking a motivated and dependable Customer Experience Representative to join their team. As a Customer Experience Representative, you will be the face of the brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, is eager to learn, and wants to make a positive impact in a growing industry. Value Buds is one of Canada's largest cannabis retailers with stores across multiple provinces, focused on delivering compelling value through high-quality products, convenient locations, and everyday low prices.

Requirements

  • Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
  • Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming experience for every customer
  • Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
  • Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts
  • Restock shelves and support basic inventory tasks
  • Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification
