About The Position

The Customer Experience Banker is a financial concierge for walk-in customers, responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. The role proactively identifies customers’ financial goals and needs and recommends appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. It also processes customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balances daily, and provides exemplary customer service.

This branch banking role offers a welcoming and inclusive team environment in which colleagues can share ideas and contribute to customer, bank, and community outcomes. The position is office-based. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
• Grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
