About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balancing daily, and providing exemplary customer service. The branch banking team offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where colleagues can help customers achieve financial goals and share ideas that affect customers, the bank, and communities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
Cash-handling skills.
Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
Understand consumer deposit products and educate customers about them.
Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build partnerships.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
Adhere to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
