About The Position

This position is the front line, key contact for our customers and internal sales teams and is responsible for building customer relationships, delivering a flawless experience in every interaction, and complying with customers’ requirements while adhering to SKF policies. The Customer Solutions Representative will have several direct customer account responsibilities and will support SKF’s global customer base across all lubrication brands: SKF, Lincoln, Alemite, ORSCO and Mityvac.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge in SKF products and systems
  • Able to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally across the organization with all levels of employees and management
  • Strong technical aptitude, good business mentality with the ability to make solid business decisions based on SKF values
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and team player, interested in being an integral part of a high performing, diversified team
  • Individual must maintain a positive attitude and work very well under pressure in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
  • Have a solid foundation of Customer Solutions principles and a commitment to providing superior service and solutions to our customers
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of the SKF, Lincoln, and Alemite product portfolio
  • AS400 or equivalent sales order processing systems experience desired
  • Advanced computer and data analytical skills with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Handle an array of customer-facing activities, including interacting with customers over the phone and email
  • Accurately enter and track orders, follow up on shipments and proactively communicate to customer
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Customer order book management
  • Handle and solve customer complaints, while analyzing root cause and propose preventive actions
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales and factory regarding new, current, and future requirements
  • Build, maintain and cultivate professional relationships with all customers
  • Work closely with Production Planning, Purchasing and the Warehouse to ensure customer expectations are consistently met
  • Research disputes and work with accounts receivables
