About The Position

Bobyard is an AI startup that automates construction takeoff with AI, using Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing to read drawings and improve the accuracy and speed of cost estimates. We are seeking a Customer Enablement Specialist to join our team. This role is on the front line, responsible for turning complex workflows into simple, clear experiences for our users. The ideal candidate will be energized by construction tech, enjoy creating content, and excel at making technical tools feel intuitive. This position combines elements of customer support, education, and systems building.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in Customer Support, Enablement, or Success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly and without jargon.
  • Proficiency with customer support tools like Intercom or similar chat platforms.
  • Experience with documentation or Learning Management System (LMS) tools.
  • Familiarity with screen recording tools such as Loom.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment where processes are still being developed.

Responsibilities

  • Own Intercom: Respond to customer questions, troubleshoot issues quickly, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build Knowledge Center and LMS: Create educational content such as short Loom videos, guides, and articles to proactively address customer inquiries.
  • Scale support with systems: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using automations, templates, and AI.
  • Close the feedback loop: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to log bugs, document customer feedback, and track issue resolutions.
  • Enable Go-to-Market (GTM) teams: Support Sales and Customer Success with product demonstrations, in-depth feature explanations, and competitive analysis.
  • Ship releases: Write changelogs, announce new features, and ensure customers are informed about product updates.
  • Develop deep user expertise: Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Bobyard platform and understand how estimators and landscape professionals derive value from it.
