About The Position

Ashby is seeking a Customer Education Program Manager to own customer-facing education work end-to-end. This role involves translating complex product workflows into clear, practical learning experiences and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure content is grounded in customer needs. The position is hands-on, requiring the individual to be involved in scoping, writing, building, reviewing, refining, and shipping educational content. The goal is to make Ashby Academy feel like a personal CSM for every customer, providing practical, accurate, and useful content that meets customers where they are. The team aims to expand the depth and formats of its content, and this hire is crucial to achieving that ambition.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Ashby workflows, user challenges, and effective usage.
  • Ability to translate Ashby knowledge into scalable coaching and content.
  • Experience teaching complex subjects (live, written, or both) and creating scalable learning materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to make complex topics clear and useful.
  • Comfort with recording voiceovers for customer-facing content.
  • Ability to own work end-to-end from problem framing through launch.
  • Skill in collaborating with subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
  • Good judgment regarding the scope and depth of educational assets.
  • Hands-on experience with Ashby (e.g., as a recruiter, recruiting ops practitioner, CSM, or deep user).
  • Proven experience owning meaningful work with autonomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve teaching or documentation processes.
  • Focus on outcomes over optics.

Responsibilities

  • Own net-new customer education work from concept through publication, including courses, playbooks, recordings, and other learning assets.
  • Define the goal and shape of each learning asset, gather SME input, design the approach, and build it.
  • Refresh and improve existing Academy content to align with current Ashby functionality.
  • Translate complex Ashby workflows into clear, practical, outcome-oriented education.
  • Partner cross-functionally with CS, Product, PMM, and RecOps Consultants to identify education opportunities and deliver assets.
  • Contribute to systems, standards, and workflows for scaling Customer Education while maintaining quality.
  • Explore adjacent formats like lighter-weight tutorials and in-app guidance.
