About The Position

This role is for a Customer Development Executive working on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic, covering the Coventry & Surrounding areas. The position is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, with a basic salary of £30,000 and a 20% bonus. Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, offering a wide range of popular beers, ciders, and soft drinks. The company has a strong national footprint with multiple production facilities and logistics depots. The Customer Development Executive will be responsible for growing Carlsberg Britvic's market share within their defined territory by driving sales of their portfolio in Symbol and Independent stores, maximizing brand availability and visibility. The company provides necessary tools, training, and support for success.

  • Live within a 60-minute commute from the location of the role.
  • Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 pts or previous bans).

  • Previous experience in Direct Sales/Convenience or FMCG.

Responsibilities

  • Make face-to-face contact with Convenience (Symbol & Independent) retailers.
  • Establish and retain new business opportunities.
  • Deliver a business plan for your territory focused on maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Partner with customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer’s needs, their local consumers, and executing solutions.
  • Adopt a full category based selling approach to growing and developing every outlet.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and take a business development approach to grow sales and market share.
  • Use data and evidence-based retailer successes to drive best practice.
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach to tackle challenges and win over stores.
