About The Position

We are seeking an outgoing, care-oriented representative to serve in-store and online shoppers. The role assists with customer service, processes incoming and outgoing shipments, and provides desktop delivery to federal customers. Approximately half the time is spent receiving and delivering items, with the remainder spent working with customers in the store. Delivery drivers represent the company when interacting with customers. This is an opportunity to learn how to run a store and meet the needs of military and federal customers.

Requirements

Customer service experience in a retail environment.
A track record of providing service that exceeds customer expectations.
Experience working with a computer-based cash register.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to research and create quotes, review orders, and enter information accurately.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds several times throughout the day.
Ability to provide desktop delivery around the base using a hand truck.
Ability to deliver products to military and federal customers in surrounding areas using a box truck.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Commitment to furthering the mission of increasing employment and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Responsibilities
