Utica First Insurance Company is currently seeking an entry level Customer Care Associate for our Oriskany, NY location. Candidate must speak fluent Portuguese.

Requirements

  • Candidate must speak fluent Portuguese.
  • Previous experience in customer centric positions.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in financial or insurance services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls daily in accordance with the average call volume of the department within a five percent margin.
  • Customer Care Associates will attend to incoming emails to the [email protected] general mailbox with an average volume within that of all team members within a five percent margin.
  • Maintain thorough tickets for all contact with our customers (insureds, agents, and other parties involved with a policy).
  • Attempt call backs to all callers who leave messages with an emphasis made on completing these call backs within three hours of notification that someone has left a message.
  • Display professionalism in phone calls and description in handling personal financial information.
  • Maintain an incoming call answer rate of 80% or higher.
