The Customer Acquisition Specialist is responsible for placing outbound phone calls, texts, and/or emails to prospective customers and/or existing customers. The purpose is to generate customer interest and set up an appointment for a Baker Sales Professional to meet with them to discuss Baker Roofing offerings. Utilizing this information, the coordinator will set up this information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool as well as setting the appointment for the Sales Professional.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Graduate/College Preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year outbound sales/appointment setting experience
  • Must speak English fluently
  • Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel at an intermediate level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with peers, clients, vendors, and a wide range of people with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Possess a motivated and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and access all responsibilities for priority
  • Accuracy in CRM updates and the assignment of work to other individuals within the company
  • Ability to simultaneously work within CRM/Salesforce/Excel/other
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, other

Responsibilities

  • Placing outbound phone calls, texts, and/or emails to prospective customers and/or existing customers.
  • Generating customer interest and setting up appointments for Baker Sales Professionals.
  • Entering customer information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Managing lead files and prioritizing appropriate steps to ensure maximum utilization.
  • Communicating with customers regarding Baker offerings, scheduling, and follow-through.
  • Assisting in the scheduling of salespersons.
  • Working within a team with a cooperative spirit.
  • Notifying management of trends or issues with the customer interaction process.
  • Adapting to changing work processes.
  • Performing other clerical tasks as needed and requested.
