About The Position

Responsible for reviewing credit applications and other documents required in establishing and maintaining customer master accounts for the organization. Position emphasis is on interacting with Sales and Marketing to service customer needs in maintaining service levels when opening eye care professional and retail account locations. Applies a broad knowledge of the organization’s product knowledge and services. Adheres to Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures and supports department objectives.

Requirements

  • 2 years customer service experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Excellent telephone, listening, and problem-solving skills.

  • AA/AS degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process credit applications for new accounts within the North America. Region including written requests from retail corporate locations for new store set-ups.
  • Maintain customer master changes and new account set-up for CCA & Chile region.
  • Maintain customer account records and account master files by updating names, addresses, phone numbers and credit card information for existing account database.
  • Improve the relationship and knowledge of business processes by providing support for sales and marketing teams regarding customer master related issues.
  • Provide direction for customer service representatives by acting as a reference line for questions concerning customer master.
  • Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensures processes adheres to company policies and external audits as required i.e., SOX, BSI
