Job Summary In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects. Your primary duties will include new project acquisition, managing existing client relations, coordinating work with the field crew on installations/cleanouts, submitting documentation to the county/city, conducting Eco Plus site visits, creating sales orders, approving invoices, and assisting with collections.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction project coordination or a related role is preferred
  • Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong computer skills to include MS Office Suite
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills
  • Individuals must be dependable, have good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to interact and communicate with associates at all levels
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a professional, prompt manner
  • Must be able to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks
  • Must have demonstrated initiative to complete responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • New Project Acquisition: Follow up on leads/requests submitted, Review permit list and “cold call” potential clients, Visit potential clients’ offices/buildings, Maintain detailed records of executed approvals via created proposals, collaborate with client for necessary documentation for renewal submissions to the county/city
  • Managing Existing Client Relationships: Collaborate with project team/client to compile necessary documentation for renewal submissions to county/city, Reach out to clients post inspection for maintenance opportunities, Office visits to ensure client satisfaction, Coordinating with field crew/inspectors and subcontractors to complete tasks, Pause/start and schedule inspections with post construction inspections team
  • Eco Plus Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to assess and document the project’s adherence to environmental and sustainability standards, Collaborate with Clients to ensure proper communication between client and company to weed out any issues
  • Approving Invoicing/Work Orders: Review and approve invoices from vendors and subcontractors, Ensure that invoices align with the agreed-upon project terms and budgets, Approve/submit work orders to be sent out to field ops team and collaborate with crews for project efficiency
  • Assisting with Collections: Collaborate with the finance team to follow up on outstanding payments, Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve payment issues
  • Creating Jobs in File Folders & Project Management: Creating new starts in the file folders for the team to access newly awarded projects, Coordinating with project coordinators and project Admin for project admin issues
  • Business development events: Attend events and collaborate with clients to produce more revenue in their market, Work with clients to generate more revenue through change orders
