About The Position

This role involves communicating with customers, estimating and entering orders, and performing other activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships supporting Sales, Manufacturing, and Shipping. The Customer Account Coordinator will have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and work with production staff to achieve on-time customer deliveries. This position is responsible for multiple accounts of small to medium customers with high complexity. Key tasks include taking customer orders, placing orders for materials and supplies for production, communicating with customers regarding order status, quotations, changes, and confirmations, processing purchase orders, coordinating account credits, and maintaining customer data. The role also involves working with production staff and utilizing systems to achieve on-time customer deliveries.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of customer relations experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers, estimate and enter orders, and perform other activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships supporting Sales, Manufacturing, and Shipping.
Have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and work with production staff to achieve on-time customer deliveries.
Responsible for multiple accounts of small to medium customers with high complexity.
Take customer orders from accounts managers or directly.
Place orders for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production.
Communicate with customers regarding issues such as order status, quotations, order changes and confirmations, as well as any questions or concerns.
Process purchase orders, coordinate account credits, and maintain customer data.
Work with production staff and utilize system to achieve on-time customer deliveries.
