About The Position

This role serves as the initial point of contact for Sales and Customers, requiring effective communication across various organizational levels including production, management, accounting, shipping, and design. The position focuses on developing strong client relationships that significantly influence production planning and service strategies. It involves working with operations and utilizing the scheduling system to ensure on-time deliveries. Key responsibilities include comprehensive order management, such as estimating, communicating timelines, order entry, follow-up, tracking, and accurate billing, with a responsibility to communicate order status. The role demands a high degree of accuracy across multiple systems for order entry, purchase requisitions, estimating, and maintaining price adjustment files. Additionally, it involves initiating customer complaints into the feedback system and following up for timely resolution, as well as inventory management including warehouse replenishment orders, analysis of min/max levels, suggesting adjustments for seasonality, communicating aging inventory, and assisting in reconciliation. Vendor management and coordination of raw materials to support delivery timelines are also crucial aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to fluctuations in business cycles and workloads due to seasonality of accounts.
  • The ability to perform math functions including working with fractions and decimals, manipulating and recording figures to provide accurate quantities, estimating and quotations.
  • Effectively multi-task and prioritize time and work.
  • 2-5 years customer service experience, preferably industry specific and account management.

  • HRMS, Kiwi, & SAP a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities
