This role is a Software Engineering Tech Lead responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and analyzing complex software solutions. The role involves reviewing system architecture, making decisions on development and support tools, and engaging in system modeling and simulation to resolve potential issues. This is a hybrid position requiring three days onsite per week for collaboration. The Tech Lead will mentor junior developers, make technical decisions, and often interact with clients, speaking on behalf of the team regarding technical matters.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a tech field plus 10 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in a tech field plus 13 years of relevant experience; or 18 years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in DevOps.
  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience with the AWS Suite and AWS Lambda.
  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in Software engineering.
  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience in Agile leadership.
  • 8 to 10+ years of relevant experience with Java, Groovy, and/or DynamoDB.
  • Experience leading software developers with hands-on keyboard experience.
  • Experience with client-interaction, presenting information, and understanding requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and analyzing complex software solutions.
  • Reviewing system architecture and making critical decisions on the selection and integration of development and support tools.
  • Engaging in system modeling, simulation, and analysis to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
  • Mentoring junior developers.
  • Making technical decisions for the team.
  • Client-facing interactions and technical presentations to clients.
