Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic food and beverage location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools as needed, you will support a welcoming environment while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring values through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
• A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, facility access concerns, and production-related disruptions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry and visitor records.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
