About The Position

The Custom Product Consultant/Buyer builds customer and vendor relationships and ensures materials are delivered optimally to Fiserv print production sites. The role works with clients, internal departments, distributors, and suppliers to gather order information, quote and manage orders, and provide professional client support. It also coordinates shipments of raw materials and monitors inventory levels to help prevent production stoppages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
• Prior experience interacting with internal and external clients at all levels.
• Client-facing experience supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations, and the documentation of contracts and agreements.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of buying experience and pricing negotiations.
• Previous experience with Acrobat, Oracle, MMS, SAP, and XO Flow.
• At least 3 years’ experience in continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Experience with print or design.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and work with clients, internal departments, distributors, and suppliers to obtain information needed to quote and manage orders.
• Complete tasks that support clients and ensure professional-level satisfaction.
• Communicate with personnel at all levels of client organizations, including high-level executives.
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships, building trust and credibility.
• Coordinate shipments of raw materials to print production sites and ensure inventory levels do not fall low enough to halt production.
