About The Position

Willson International is seeking Import Analysts to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and enjoy a dynamic work environment. This is a remote position based anywhere in Canada, with a shift from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Requirements

• Clearance & Rating experience required
• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a Customs Brokerage environment, clearing ground shipments
• Proficiency in MS Office and database skills
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
• Accuracy and attention to detail is required
• Must have Custom Import Analyst Experience

Nice To Haves

• CCS designation is an asset

Responsibilities

• Liaise with multiple third parties (including Canada Customs, clients, and shipping companies) to ensure international Truck Freight imports are cleared for entry into Canada.
• Use multiple computer programs to input required information into our database.
• Communicate with clients and transportation carriers via email and phone.
• Partner with internal departments, such as Logistics and Finance, plus varying government agencies to resolve discrepancies.
