About The Position

This role involves operating shears to cut plastic and metal, using various punches for holes and corner customization, and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time to produce all offered products. The specialist will be responsible for working in several areas of the Fabrication department and may have other duties assigned as needed. Job duties or responsibilities may change at any time, with or without notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to use computer keyboard and company software programs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
• Ability to work with multiple internal and external customers.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to work in a goal-oriented team environment.
• Ability to work under time constraints while meeting productivity, accuracy & service-related performance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Service orientated with demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Uses plastic and metal shears for custom cutting.
• Beveling plastic using beveling machine.
• Uses various punchers for holes, corners on custom cut material.
• Use saw for cutting acrylic to customer size.
• Uses radial arm saw for cutting columns.
• Assist others in department as needed.
• Responsible for working in several areas of the Fabrication department as listed in equipment used below.
• Other duties as assigned.
