Craftsman Custom Cabinet Installer
About The Position
Art of Drawers is looking for part-time installation partners who are skilled craftsmen who know how to use a toolbox, saw, drill, and level and want to be known for providing a platinum level of service. Art of Drawers creates joyful, inspirational experiences for our clients through custom-crafted pull-out drawers and storage solutions to fit in existing cabinets. By designing and installing pull-out drawers and other organizational solutions, we give our customers more space, more organization, and frustration-free access to the items they use every day. We are growing and looking to hire people-oriented craftsmen and women to build relationships and install our organizational solutions. We provide the training, and you provide the passion and motivation. Installers are paid guaranteed commission at the time of install and may access bonus opportunities and lucrative referral fees. Installers are also encouraged to pick up additional work directly with clients outside of their Art of Drawers work. Average installers make $40-60/hr with opportunities to make more based on efficiency that is taught in our training. This equates to 7% of the sales price. Installer candidates must complete our training at the Home Office to be certified. This requires a payment of $750 and travel to Atlanta, GA to obtain formal Art of Drawers certification. Your franchise partner will work with you to guarantee revenue assigned to them and/or refund them after X number of installs. Installer candidates should understand that each project has 2 components; a measurement appointment (to confirm initial measurements within 24-72 hours) and an installation (4 to 6 weeks after measurement confirmation) component, which includes the inspection.
Requirements
- Carpentry / craftsman / handyman experience.
- Proficiency with a toolbox, saw, drill, and level.
- Tools and vehicle large enough to carry materials to job sites.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Complete training at the Home Office to be certified (requires a $750 payment and travel to Atlanta, GA).
