About The Position
Chicago Signs and Screen Printing is a top-rated printing and branding company specializing in screen printing, embroidery, and custom signage. They are an authorized decorator for major brands and serve a diverse clientele including schools, nonprofits, corporations, and event organizers. The company is seeking an Account Manager to drive new business and maintain existing client relationships. This junior-to-mid-level sales role involves managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact to final delivery, and assisting clients with their custom apparel, promotional product, and signage needs. The position offers a hybrid work model, combining in-shop collaboration with production and design teams, remote work for lead follow-up and client management, and field work for networking and client relationship building. The company provides inbound leads from online marketing, supplemented by the expectation of proactive networking and relationship development.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of sales experience preferred
- OR relevant customer service/production experience in graphic design, screen printing, or embroidery with a strong interest in moving into sales
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule across in-shop, remote, and field settings
- Reliable transportation for local client visits and networking events
- Self-motivated, coachable, and goal-driven
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience in the custom apparel/decorated goods industry (screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, or similar)
- B2B sales experience with school districts, corporations, nonprofits, or event organizers
- Background in graphic design, screen printing, or embroidery production looking to transition into sales
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound leads and convert them into long-term client relationships
- Meet with clients (in person, virtually, and in-shop) to scope out apparel, embroidery, and signage projects
- Prepare quotes, coordinate with production/design teams, and manage orders through completion
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, corporations, nonprofits, and event organizers
- Represent Chicago Signs and Screen Printing at networking events and in the community
- Maintain accurate records of leads, accounts, and pipeline activity
