About The Position

The Mutual Funds Processing team is hiring a Custody Operations Specialist 3 that supports trading and processing work across several areas, including Mutual Fund Trading, Money Market Trading, New Account Setup, and Corrections Processing. The work is operational in nature and centers on completing time-sensitive, detail-driven tasks that support daily trading activity and account maintenance. The specialist is responsible for the operational support and processing of Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking client accounts and products of various types and sizes established by clients for various purposes. Accountable for setting up securities, general account and asset level maintenance with some level of supervision. Responsibilities have various levels of risk correlating to the type and size of account or product. Effectively and accurately coordinate, manage and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines. Understands and achieves established Service Level Agreements. Accountable for compliance with established department policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of relevant experience

• Basic understanding of regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking business lines and clients
• Ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems (SEI/Trust 3000, SWP), procedures, various products and/or services, for assigned area(s)
• Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supports trading and processing work across Mutual Fund Trading, Money Market Trading, New Account Setup, and Corrections Processing.
• Completes time-sensitive, detail-driven tasks supporting daily trading activity and account maintenance.
• Provides operational support and processing for Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking client accounts and products.
• Sets up securities, general account and asset level maintenance with some supervision.
• Coordinates, manages, and completes multiple duties and assignments concurrently and within acceptable timelines.
• Achieves established Service Level Agreements.
• Ensures compliance with established department policies and procedures.
