About The Position

The Custody Operations Specialist position works closely with our Custody Administrators to support all large institutional custody clients, both global and domestic. The Operations Specialist role is responsible for performing complex processing, maintenance, and moderately complex financial calculations related to securities and cash transactions for institutional investors. They accurately input cash and securities transactions, as well as market value update requests. This role also supports new account and fee setups as well as handling documentation and audit requests. Working in the Institutional Custody team can be fun, challenging, fast paced, and collaborative. As a group we are independently serving clients, but we rely heavily on teamwork and shared knowledge to be successful as a unit. There are often deadlines we rally around as a team. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and positive space and teammates are always happy to share their knowledge and help those around them grow!

Requirements

An Associates Degree or 1 year of experience in the financial services industry

Responsibilities

Partner with Custody Administrators to process any client requests and provide the highest level of customer service.
Operate various computer systems to set up new accounts and fees as well as input cash and security transactions.
Partner with internal teams to support our client groups, handling documentation and audit requests.
