About The Position

The Custodian maintains assigned facilities and grounds in a clean, safe, and well-functioning condition so the facilities can be used for educational purposes. This is a 9.25-month contract covering 184 days, with an eight-hour workday. The position is non-exempt and is compensated at PAY807 Grade 01, with a salary range of $17,313–$30,081 plus a benefits package. Placement within the salary range is based on experience. The employee is expected to follow directions, work cooperatively, interact courteously with the public, maintain good working relationships with staff, and take responsibility for assigned duties and tools. The role includes physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, operating foot and hand controls, and occasionally lifting or moving 40 pounds or more.
