About The Position

The Custodian works independently and as part of a team to clean the Zions Bank Basketball Campus, maintaining a “show ready” appearance and a high standard of cleanliness. The role is scheduled from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and pays $17 per hour. The position includes cleaning practice courts and surrounding areas, maintaining sanitation throughout the buildings, and performing detailed cleaning in restrooms, locker rooms, offices, concourses, and other spaces. The Custodian also keeps custodial closets and storage areas orderly, interacts tactfully and cordially with patrons and employees, and reports repair needs to the Zions Bank Basketball Campus Facilities Manager. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to work weekends on a rotating basis and some holidays as needed.
Ability to communicate and express oneself both in writing and verbally.
Ability to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

High school education or equivalent experience preferred.
1–3 years of custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean the Zions Bank Basketball Campus practice court, Franklin Covey practice court, and surrounding areas.
Assist in maintaining sanitation throughout the buildings.
Perform detailed cleaning in restrooms, locker rooms, office areas, concourses, and other spaces.
Clean the office area, Jazz operations area, windows, stairs, elevators, carpets, and floors.
Keep custodial closets and storage areas neat and tidy.
Interact tactfully and in a friendly manner with patrons and other employees.
Report repair needs to the Zions Bank Basketball Campus Facilities Manager.
Perform general custodial duties as assigned.
