About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for students and staff. The role involves general cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and minor repairs. Please note that effective July 1, 2026, the position will convert to a 12-month, 5-hour position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, classrooms, and offices.
• Perform floor care duties, including waxing and buffing.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with minor repairs as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
