About The Position

Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957 and is one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island.

Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check.
Candidates should be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting at least 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with pressure wash, leaf blower, stand-behind, ride-on machines, trash compactor, and baler machine is preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean common areas: This includes restrooms and both the interior and exterior of the facility.
Maintain cleanliness: Responsibilities involve sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, use of equipment and wiping down surfaces.
Trash management: Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.
Location maintenance duties include: Cleaning restrooms and storage spaces, Removing trash and replacing liners, ensuring waste is disposed of properly, Restocking supplies, Completing additional tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor.
