About The Position

Perform daily custodial duties in addition to moving furniture and some maintenance activities. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning of offices, sweeping, and vacuuming and trash removal. Delivering janitorial supplies. Lifting and moving items up to 100 pounds. Hang pictures, whiteboards, and other items in offices as requested. Cleaning of carpet, mops floors, clean windows and office furniture. Responsible for floor finishes and including stripping, waxing, and buffing hard floor surfaces. Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduation or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• At least one year of experience.
• Valid Texas Drivers License
• Safe operations of custodial equipment.
• Safely operate equipment and use cleaning chemicals; use hand tools and other specialized equipment; understand and follow instructions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing and work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers.
