This role involves performing janitorial duties, managing hazardous waste responsibilities, operating motorized cleaning equipment, and maintaining the daily upkeep of assigned areas. The custodian must also report incidents and hazardous conditions to their supervisor, comply with safety rules, and work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, they are expected to perform repetitive tasks, maintain a clean work area, follow all company protocols, take direction, and communicate professionally with colleagues and customers. The role also includes supporting shift leads and understanding customer service principles.
