About The Position

GRBS is seeking individuals to join their family as custodians within Portage Public Schools. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options, offering between 15-40 hours per week. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of school facilities, contributing to a positive and safe environment for students and staff. • Individuals with theft, violence or drug related backgrounds will not qualify for employment due to Michigan public schools requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consistently come to work.
• Follow GRBS processes.
• Serve the customers.
• Have mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned
