Requirements
- Must be able to independently lift and position objects weighing as much as 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to handle basic issues and solve problems professionally.
- Must be able to work alone without constant supervision but can also strengthen their teams.
- Must align with all regulations associated with the safe handling of chemicals.
- Must be able to work in damp, dusty, and/or dirty areas.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and communicate in English for video training, building security, and safety purposes, including asking clarifying questions as needed.
- Willing to work rotating weekends (every 7th Saturday)
- Willing to work events and holidays as scheduled
Nice To Haves
- Any previous experience or knowledge of custodial practices is welcomed but not required.
Responsibilities
- Sanitize public areas, offices, and restrooms, daily or as instructed
- Dust or polish furnishings, light fixtures, windowsills, wood paneling, etc.
- Spot clean carpets, rugs and upholstery, restock supplies, remove leaves or snow, and dispose of trash, waste, and other materials
- Attend meetings and trainings crafted to increase your knowledge and abilities
- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, vacuums, buffers, large scrubbers and sweepers, and extraction equipment
- Perform emergency cleanups including floods, bodily fluids, spills, etc.
- Report safety or security issues and needed repairs
